Business Manager (Mankato)


Position Summary

Open Door Health Center (ODHC) has an opening for a Business Manager.  The Business Manager plans, coordinates, and monitors the operational and personnel activities of the finance department to ensure proper application of accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position is also responsible for managing and operations of the front desk activities

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are a BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field and three to five years of experience, strong communication skills, computer experience including spreadsheet development and 10-key by touch. Must be a detail oriented person with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skill, and effective organizational ability.  Experience with Abilia Accounting Software is helpful.  Management experience is required.

The Business Manager partners with the CFO and management team to align the Finance Department policies and systems to achieve Open Door Health Center’s vision and goals. He/she also monitors programs and procedures to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. The Business Manager acts as a resource in resolving customer issues brought to the Department and responds to customer inquiries and problem solving in a professional and effective fashion.
