Open Door Health Center is a community health center and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).  Our clinic provides quality care that is culturally sensitive to our diverse community.

Our team provides comprehensive and caring family practice medical, dental and behavioral health care to adults and children, including serving the low-income and underserved in southern Minnesota.   We currently serve over 3,000 patients, and our patient volume continues to grow.   In addition to our current clinic, we are starting a Mobile Health program early in 2012.

♦ Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Full Time

Newly created position for our growing organization.  Position is responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective operation of the organization through fiscal management, resource management, information sharing, and the promotion of quality and service excellence.  Responsibilities include the day-to-day financial operation of the organization, including accounting, billing, information technology (IT), financial reporting, and financial analysis.  The CFO is responsible for ensuring accuracy of all financial reports and developing necessary processes to safeguard the organization's financial resources.  This position acts as an integral member of the organization's leadership team and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Candidates must have earned a Baccalaureate degree in business, accounting or related field; CPA or Master's degree preferred.  Successful candidate will have three to five years experience in similar position.  Knowledge of financial and information systems, health care environment and industry standards, and GAAP standards preferred.  Previous supervision of staff is preferred.  Previous experience supervising the preparation of financial reporting to regulatory parties is a plus.  Travel locally and regionally may be required.

 

♦ Dental Hygienist - PRN

PRN position for dental department onsite and on mobile clinic, for daytime hours, Monday through Friday.  We are seeking a friendly, competent candidate with flexibility of days and hours.  Travel required for mobile clinic position.  Position is not eligible for benefits.

 

♦ Dental Assistant - Full Time 

Full time position available to experienced candidate in our new dental clinic.  Degree in Dental Assisting from an accredited school is required.  We are seeking a friendly, competent candidate with attention to detail, computer and customer service skills.  Position is eligible for benefits including paid time off, health and dental, retirement savings and supplemental benefits.

 

♦ Dental Assistant / Receptionist - Full Time

Full time position available to experienced candidate in our new dental clinic.  Position would incorporate assistant and receptionist responsibilities, segmented by time or days.  Degree in Dental Assisting from an accredited school is required.  We are seeking a friendly, competent candidate with attention to detail, computer and customer service skills.  Position is eligible for benefits including paid time off, health and dental, retirement savings and supplemental benefits.

♦ CMA or LPN - Full Time

Full time position available to experienced candidate in our family practice clinic.  Candidates should be able to work with a diverse population, have excellent clinical skills, as well as, oral and written communication skills, the ability to multitask and is a team player with a strong work ethic.  Previous experience in a family practice setting and ability to speak Spanish are preferred.  Position is eligible for benefits including paid time off, health and dental, retirement savings and supplemental benefits.

  

♦ Bilingual Support Service Representative position -  Full-Time - Dental Services

Position is available for dental department starting immediately for daytime hours, Monday through Friday.  Position is responsible for providing reception services and patient services support including guiding patients through sliding fee discounting and medication assistance programs.  We are seeking an experienced Spanish interpreter to also assist with medical interpreting for patients.  The person in this role, while primarily serving the above functions, could be asked to fill-in for other support services roles as needed.  Position is eligible for benefits including paid time off, health and dental, retirement savings and supplemental benefits.

 

♦ Bilingual Support Service Representative position -  Full-Time - Floater

Position is available for support services department starting immediately for daytime hours, Monday through Friday.  Position is responsible for providing reception services and patient services support including guiding patients through sliding fee discounting and medication assistance programs for medical, dental and behavioral health patients.  We are seeking an experienced Spanish interpreter to also assist with medical interpreting for patients.  The person in this role, while primarily serving the above functions, will be asked to fill-in for other support services roles as needed.  Position is eligible for benefits including paid time off, health and dental, retirement savings and supplemental benefits.

 

♦ Bilingual Support Service Representative position -  Full-Time - Mobile Health

Position is available for support services department starting soon for extended hours, Tuesday through Thursday.  Position is responsible for providing reception services, Spanish interpreting services and patient services support including guiding patients through sliding fee discounting and medication assistance programs for medical, dental and behavioral health patients.  These services occur on our mobile health clinics - both medical and dental.  These vehicles travel accross southern Minnesota providing care to patients in Marshall, Gaylord and Dodge Center, Minnesota.  Due to travel, staff days are longer, but require fewer work days.  The person in this role, while primarily serving the above functions, will be asked to fill-in for the lead Support Service Representatives onboard, and drive the mobile vehicle.  Drivers are not required to have special licensing, only the ability and confidence in driving a larger vehicle.  Position is eligible for benefits including paid time off, health and dental, retirement savings and supplemental benefits.

 

♦ Support Services Representative position -  Full-Time - Floater

Position is available for support services department starting immediately for daytime hours, Monday through Friday.  Position is responsible for providing reception services and patient services support including guiding patients through sliding fee discounting and medication assistance programs for medical, dental and behavioral health patients.  We are seeking an experienced Spanish interpreter to also assist with medical interpreting for patients.  The person in this role, while primarily serving the above functions, will be asked to fill-in for other support services roles as needed.  Position is eligible for benefits including paid time off, health and dental, retirement savings and supplemental benefits.

 

♦ Phone Operator / Administrative Assistant / Medical Records Support -  Full-Time - Floater

Position is available for support services department starting immediately for daytime hours, Monday through Friday.  Candidate must perform friendly, consistent and accurate phone operator duties - including answering of patient questions via phone and connecting them with the correct staff members.  The person in this role, while primarily serving the above functions, must have high attention to detail and will be asked to perform administrative assistant duties, and fill other support services roles as needed, including medical records.  We are seeking candidates with Microsoft Office, clerical, switchboard,  and records management experience.  Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.  Position is eligible for benefits including paid time off, health and dental, retirement savings and supplemental benefits.
